  8.   As I mentioned in last month's notes, there has been a MAJOR change that
  9.   all readers of The Hack Report need to be aware of.  Namely, my FidoNet
  10.   and Internet addresses have changed, due to the fact that I have moved
  11.   from Kyle, TX to Garland, TX (a suburb of Dallas) to take a new job with
  12.   Apogee Software Productions as a Technical Support Representative.
  13.  
  14.   My new FidoNet NetMail address, 1:124/4007, is now effective.  As before,
  15.   it is a private node, so the same routing of NetMail that was required
  16.   for my old address will still be necessary.

  18.   My Internet e-mail address is still in a state of flux, as I have not
  19.   been able to set up a new account here yet.  I can always be reached at
  20.   either ljackson@BIX.com or 76040.2743@compuserve.com, but please allow
  21.   for a delay if you use either of these addresses:  I am only able to pick
  22.   up my mail twice a week on BIX and once a week on CompuServe.

  24.   Finally, I am studying the possibility of distributing The Hack Report
  25.   via diskette in addition to its current means of distribution.  This is
  26.   purely a PRELIMINARY study, as I am not yet sure if I want to take the
  27.   plunge into mailing out disks.  If this becomes a reality, I will need to
  28.   impose a charge to cover the costs of mailing, supplies, etc.  Everyone
  29.   would still be able to obtain The Hack Report for free via BBS systems,
  30.   of course:  I write it as a free public service and will always do so.

  32.   If you would be interested in obtaining The Hack Report via mailed
  33.   diskette, please let me know via FidoNet NetMail or Internet e-mail.  My
  34.   addresses are listed above.  No subscriptions will be accepted at this
  35.   time, so please don't give me your mailing address yet.  I'm simply
  36.   testing the waters to see if there is a demand.

  38.   Do ***NOT*** reply in one of the echos I monitor and/or moderate:  the
  39.   moderator won't take it too kindly if you do.  Also, please try not to
  40.   send your replies via any of The HackWatchers, since they are busy enough
  41.   with their regular duties.

  43.   Thanks for putting up with all of this - it will be worth it, once the
  44.   dust settles. ;-)
